While there’s nothing wrong with HD, if you’re looking for the sharpest, most pixel-packed image, 4K is the path. If you need the numbers, an HD image is 1280 pixels wide and 720 pixels high, while a 4K image is, of course, getting closer to four thousand pixels on the wide side at 3840 x 2160. The good news: in terms of our wallpapers, they’re all beautiful, sharp and waiting to enhance your screens, so don’t let the lack of a 4K monitor in your life stop you from trying them out.

8K resolution gives you around twice the number of pixels as 4K: 7680 pixels wide by 4320 tall. However, in the absence of 8K content, an 8K monitor is just a 4K monitor that took a bigger chunk out of your budget, speaking of numbers.
